About the Master's program

Why study traffic and transport?

The Master's program is designed to ensure interdisciplinary qualification in the field of transport, thus enabling students to work in a specialized position in industry, administration, research institutions, consulting, traffic, transport or logistics companies.

The program is aimed at both, international and German applicants, who have already obtained a bachelor's degree or a comparable degree in one of the following courses: Economics or Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable course of study and who wish to deepen and specialize their knowledge. Graduates of universities of applied sciences with comparable qualifications with regard to content are also part of the target group.

Accordingly, the professional qualification is generally already existing before entering the degree program. It is a further qualification that prepares the master graduate for new or further developed fields of work. The central concern of the study program is to teach interdisciplinary cooperation.

With a Master of Science degree in Traffic and Transport, you will be well equipped for the future requirements as an engineer in the transportation industry. Your qualifications set you up for a successful career in all transportation areas.

Due to the increasing mobility needs in our society, the career prospects for university graduates in the transportation sector can be described as very good.
